At 14:00 on 2-16-13 companies were dispatched for a reported structure on fire at 826 Glenwood Avenue, Avondale.

1 Alarm: Engines 23 & 9; Trucks 32 & 19; RAT 2; Districts 1 (Phillips) & 4 (Zimmerman); Heavy Rescue 9; Medic 9, ALS 32 and SO 2.

1st Alarm units went on the scene with heavy smoke showing from the roof and third floor.

Due to amount of Fire and Size of Building Glenwood Command requested the 2nd Alarm:

2nd Alarm: Engines 19 & 34; Truck 31; Heavy Rescue 14 and Medic 23.

Due to size of the building Glenwood Command requested 2 additional engine companies on Side C for handlines and to supply Trucks 31\'s ladder pipe.

Engines 46 and 12 were dispatched.
