Killed with Michael Healey and 20 other firefighters were injured when they were crushed by a falling wall. The rear wall of the Klein and Quiint Building 45-47 West Front Street, collapsed and fell on the firemen who had just been plunged into the cellar of an adjoining building when that building collapsed.
