A 26 year veteran of the Fire Department, Wuebbling died of a heart attack shortly after fighting a fire in a Price Hill home. He staggered from the burning house, mumbled that he was "about to cash in" and collapsed in the arms of two other firefighters. He died less than three hours later at General Hospital. Wuebbling lived with his wife at 943 McPherson Ave, Price Hill.
