Schraffenberger died from injuries received in an auto acccident at Ludlow and Brookline
Avenues on February 25. Charles Rueter was driving the marshals car when the steering rod broke,
causing the car to strike a pole. The marshal was hurled from the car. Schraffenbereger
died at General Hospital 5 days later. He lived at 109 Charlton St with his family.
